My Picnic in the Short Holiday

One day in the holiday, I and my family went to Kyai Langgeng Park. It is located in Magelang regency. It is about 100 km from Solo. We went there by car. We didn’t go by bus because by renting a car. Renting a car is more economical than by bus. We left home at 7 o’clock. At about 10 o’clock we got in Kyai Langgeng Park. Then we bought some entrance tickets. It seems we were not lucky because it was cloudy. We thought it was going to rain soon. My sister looked disappointed because my mother forbade her to swim. After we walked around the park, we sat on the chairs beside the pond with beautiful fountain. My father opened some foods we brought from home. Since we didn’t waste a time, my mother ordered me to go to the playing area with my sister. My sister bought me an ice cream before us toward the playing area. Then we try to get on a jet coaster although I remember how horrible it is. After it, we returned to the place where we took a rest before with my father and mother and we spent a time to take a photo together. To avoid the rain, we were tidying up everything that we brought as soon as possible. We left that place about 12.30 pm. After we went to a mosque to pray, we went home. We were happy and satisfied with our picnic that day although it just a short time.

I and My Younger Sister


I and my younger sister have the similarities. Both of us study at the same school. When I was junior high school, I studied at SMP N 2 Surakarta, just as my younger sister. Last year, she has finished her study at SMP N 2 Surakarta. Now, she is studying at SMA N 4 Surakarta in the first grade. While in 2009, I become the graduate student of SMA N 4 Surakarta. I’m the fans of young gunner, the other name of Arsenal Football Club. I am interested in watching the Arsenal match, collecting the accessories of Arsenal, and searching the news of Arsenal team. Like me, my younger sister also collects the things about Arsenal and joins the group of Arsenal FC in Facebook. Besides that, I and my younger sister love some pets. I love cat, rabbit, and hamster, my younger sister does too. She used to keep those animals some years ago. However we have the differences. Blue is my favorite color. The colors of the things in my room are dominated by the blue once. It’s quite different from my younger sister’s room. Most of the colors there are green. If we talk about food, both of us like fried rice, fried noodle, and kebab.
